This is kind of a special age, right? I'm of full-age worldwide now~ but besides that nothing changes for me... I still feel like 16 years old, hihi~ The weather today should be good and I meet with a friend of mine to get some ice cream or something like that. Unfortunately my boyfriend has to work but the actual birthday party (cake, coffee, tea, barbeque - perfect!) will be at Saturday, so it's okay (;
However my mommy still bakes a cake for today :D

Ich werde heute 21! (: Schon ein spezielles Alter, oder? Ich bin jetzt weltweit volljährig~ aber ansonsten ändert sich für mich nichts... ich fühle mich immer noch wie 16, hihi~ Das Wetter heute sollte gut werden und ich werde mich mit einer Freundin treffen und wir gehen ein Eis essen oder so. Mein Freund muss leider arbeiten, aber die eigentliche Geburtstagsparty (Kuchen, Kaffee, Tee, grillen -perfekt!) wird am Samstag sein, von daher ist es okay (;
Meine Mama backt mir trotzdem schon einen Kuchen für heute :D

new in my life ♥ make-up stylist + I am published ♥

Maybe some of you know that I want to turn my passion to profession and aspire to be a cosmetician and after that maybe do an advanced training to be a make-up artist.
I work with Mary Kay and there is a make-up artist who is doing workshops and assessments for other MK women. I had the opportunity to visit these workshops and after that I got to do an exam. This is how the make-up stylist (make-up stylist is a shorter and cheaper training than make-up artist, I did it as a bridgeover, because my beautician training only starts in October!) test was arranged:

♥ 1. I had to find at least 15 different girls and women to do their make-up. They all should be different in type, nationality, face shape, age etc.. I had to do before and after pictures on my work. For this I had time from December until May (but I only startet in April, because I wanted to collect more info from the workshop, hehe :D). I put all of these photos in one portfolio. We also should write down what products we used.
♥ 2. At the exam day (16th of May) we had to answer a short test with questions to different eye shapes, face shapes, colors and so on.
♥ 3. I also had to bring one model with me, no matter if I did her make up before or not. All of the participants changed their models among eachother so that we had to do the make-up on a girl we never saw before. (: (I liked it!) We had to do a beauty make up that fits the type of the girl and choose the right foundation, powder and any other colors.

While we did the make up on the model, the make-up artist took a good look at out portfolio to rate it. She also checked our answers on the test.
I passed the assessment as a make-up stylist! :D This is my certificate including the workshops that we took:

In our big blogosphere there are almost no rules for constructing posts, the design and the layout of your blogs - except the legal instructions but that's not the issue today. Being a blogger you can be super creative, also related to your blog design.
Your design reflects the topic of your blog, can show how creative your are and what you like - for me it is very important, because it's comparable with the first impression in real life! (:
In this post I'll give you a bit of my opinion relating to design and layout of a blog and maybe for some of you this is quite helpful? Let's go! :D

This was a present that I made my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. These were mini heart cakes (lemon dough), dipped in chocolate. They were so delicious... *w* But after that I started with my low carb diet, haha :D ♥♥♥ Das war ein Geschenk, das ich meinem Freund zum Valentinstag gemacht habe. Es waren Mini-Herzkuchen (Zitronenteig), in Schokolade gedippt. Die waren so lecker... *w* Aber danach habe ich mit meiner Low Carb-Ernährung begonnen, haha :D

1.) I often hear that I look way younger than I am. I will be 21 this year, but many people think I'm 16 or something like that. All of my friends look like their age... this is a little bit shitty for me, because I'm always more the 'cute type' of girl, not the 'sexy type' of girl ):

2.) I loooove cats! I really love them. I don't own a cat, but I SO want a cute kitty, hehehe~

3.) I love my boyfriend more than cats.

4.) I was never satisfied with my body and I think I'm the type of girl who will never be satisfied for 100%. (;

5.) I think some people think I'm not the most intelligent girl when they're hearing about my hobbies like beauty, cosmetics, fashion... but I also love to read and to draw and paint.

6.) I would do YouTube videos if I had a better camera.

7.) My old notebook crashed because I walked with a cocoa drink in my hand, tripped and the drink was all over the notebook. hahaha, dumb or dumb?

8.) I love hearing K-pop (Korean pop music). I don't understand a single word to be honest, but I just love the music. My boyfriend cannot understand, but that's okay. I just like their style of music, it's often catchy and funny. Maybe they are so special for me, because I don't like to hear German music...

9.) I also hear other music! I like r'n'b, hip hop, dance music, dubstep and sometimes also some good rock (good = Linkin Park).

10.) I want to lose 7 kg (15 lbs) until summer! I lost 10 kg (22 lbs) last year but gained 2 kg back which is no drama for me. But I want to get rid of them and a bit more.

What I did these days ♥ (big shopping, new hair color, frozen yoghurt...) ♥

cute bag and a cozy sweater ♥ bought a foundation + powder by MAC! ♥ cute earstuds *w*


All of the things I bought on one picture, both sweaters by H&M and both are long, so I can wear them with leggings! Exactly what I searched for. I found the bag by chance (in another store) and it has almost the same color like the sweater. ♥ Also bought the Studio Sculpt Foundation (NC44) and the Studio Fix Powder (NC45) (: Finally in a not too light color... my other foundation was too light. Okay, it wasn't way too light but I like it when my neck has the same color than my face.

Alle gekauften Sachen auf einem Bild, beide Shirts sind von H&M und beide sind lang, sodass ich sie mit Leggings tragen kann! Genau das, was ich gesucht habe. Die Tasche habe ich durch Zufall gefunden (in einem anderen Laden) und sie hat fast die selbe Farbe wie das Shirt. ♥ Habe außerdem die Studio Sculpt Foundation (NC44) und das Studio Fix Puder (NC45) gekauft (: Endlich in einer nicht zu hellen Farbe...meine andere Foundation war zu hell. Okay, nicht viel zu hell, aber ich mag es, wenn mein Hals die selbe Farbe wie mein Gesicht hat.

2013 TAG by Miu ♥ This will be my 2013 :D ♥

And since then I agonized about it...that's the reason why it's coming so late. It's like a list what you want to achieve this year.

My New Year's resolution for 2012 was mainly to lose weight - around 10 kg was my goal. I did it! I wanted to lose more but in the end I was too lazy and the food was too good. (; I also thought about studying art but dismissed it again...maybe for something good? Something that I am?

Mein Neujahrsvorsatz für 2012 war hauptsächlich, Gewicht zu verlieren - um die 10 kg waren mein Ziel. Ich hab's geschafft! Ich wollte noch mehr verlieren, aber am Ende war ich zu faul und das Essen war zu gut. (; Ich habe auch überlegt, Kunst zu studieren, habe es aber wieder verworfen...vielleicht für etwas gutes? ♥ FOTD ♥ my not so typical (?) Christmas look + button swap + I'm a Mary Kay Consultant

Ah, finally a FOTD again! Long time none... but now! I hope you all had nice holidays! My Christmas look is not that ususal I think... the dominating colors of Christmas are gold and red and often green as well - I used silver! (our christmas tree was decorated in purple and silver.) I wore my new silver glitter pants from H&M (I got my delivery! :D) and a black top, so silver was a better option for me.
I also used my new Mary Kay lipgloss, finally a nude lipgloss that looks good on me! *w* More below.

Ah, endlich wieder ein FOTD! Lange Zeit gab's keins...aber jetzt! Ich hoffe, ihr hattet alle schöne Feiertage! Mein Weihnachtslook ist nicht so typisch, denke ich...die dominierenden Weihnachtsfarben sind Gold und Rot und oft auch Grün - ich habe Silber benutzt! (unser Weihnachtsbaum war in Lila und Silber geschmückt.) Ich habe meine neue silber glitzernde H&M-Hose getragen (meine Bestellung ist angekommen! :D) und ein schwarzes Oberteil, sodass Silber eine besser Option für mich war.
Ich habe auch meinen neuen Mary Kay Lipgloss benutzt, endlich ein Nude-Lipgloss, der gut an mir aussieht! *w* Mehr weiter unten.

♥ merry Christmas, girls! ♥

It's almost the 25th of December here and my Christmas Eve is already 'over'... I spent my day with my mum, my little brother and my boyfriend. He went home, wished to spent the whole day and night with him and maybe tomorrow but yeah, I messed up a little bit.
The food my mum made was sooo delicious!! She made a filled turkey hen with dumplings and red cabbage. ♥ Typical german Christmas meal, haha (;
My presents also were wonderful (thanks baby, you are the best). (: All in all it was a very nice day and evening. Tomorrow my older brother, his girlfriend and their son - my nephew - will visit us. We'll eat some Raclette, yummy!

Es ist fast der 25. Dezember hier und mein Heiligabend ist schon 'vorbei'... Ich habe meinen Tag mit meiner Mama, meinem kleinen Bruder und meinem Freund verbracht. Er ist nach Hause gegangen, ich wünschte, ich hätte den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht mit ihm verbringen können und vielleicht auch morgen, aber ja, ich hab's etwas versaut.
Das Essen, das meine Mama gemacht hat, war sooo lecker!! Sie hat eine gefüllte Pute mit Knödeln und Rotkohl gemacht. ♥ Typisch deutsches Weihnachtsessen, haha (;
Meine Geschenke waren auch wundervoll (danke Baby, du bist der beste). (: Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Tag und Abend. Morgen bekommen wir Besuch von meinem älteren Bruder, seiner Freundin und dessen Sohn - meinem Neffen. Wir werden Raclette essen, yummy!

So it's theme week on my blog and many other blogs. My first topic for the world apokalypse 2012 is: "the world ceased to exist earlier without these things" - which means: the thing that is very important for me.

Also, es ist Themenwoche auf meinem und vielen anderen Blogs. Mein erstes Thema für den Weltuntergang 2012 ist: "Dinge, ohne die die Welt schon viel früher untergegangen wäre" - was heißt: Dinge, die sehr wichtig für mich sind.


For me it was always hard to make the right decisions, work- and future-wise I mean. I finished my school in June 2011 (A levels/university entrance diploma) and after that...I started to work. Because I didn't know what to do. Cosmetics was always my biggest hobby, for years. I just learned by doing it. But I wasn't sure if it's okay to really do a training in it, learning it from the beginning and so on...and if it's accepted around me...I was too unsure. Art also is my 'passion' but not as much as cosmetics and make-up is.
I made my decision a few weeks ago. Some people will think, it's dumb, but it's my dream: I want to be a cosmetics-apprentice. It will cost me a little bit per month, but this is my dream. Your opinion would be very interesting for me. (:

Für mich war es immer schwer, die richtigen Entscheidungen zu treffen, bezogen auf Arbeit und Zukunft. Ich habe meine Schule im Juni 2011 beendet (Abitur) und danach...habe ich angefangen zu arbeiten. Weil ich nicht wusste, was ich machen wollte. Kosmetik war immer mein größtes Hobby, seit Jahren. Ich habe einiges gelernt, in dem ich es ausprobiert habe. Aber ich war nicht sicher, ob es in Ordnung ist, wirklich eine Ausbildung in diesem Bereich zu machen, von Anfang an alles zu lernen und so weiter...ob es um mich herum akzeptiert wird....ich war zu unsicher. Kunst ist auch meine 'Leidenschaft', aber nicht so sehr wie Kosmetik und Make-up es ist.
Ich habe meine Entscheidung vor ein paar Wochen getroffen. Ein paar Leute denken, es ist dumm, aber es ist mein Traum: Ich will ein Kosmetik-Azubi sein. Es wird mit monatlichen Kosten verbunden sein, aber es ist mein Traum. Eure Meinung würde sehr interessant für mich sein. (:


Oh my god, this post seems so... depressing. But the world apocalypse is kind of depressing, right? (;
So, when the won't exist anymore (I'm not believing in this, but who knows) then I'm happy that I did a decision that I like, that is good for ME and that I love work-wise. :D Although I wouldn't experience anymore. At least I came to terms with me!

Oh mein Gott, dieser Post kommt so...deprimierend rüber. Aber der Weltuntergang ist irgendwie deprimierend, nicht wahr? (; Also, wenn die Welt nicht mehr existieren wird (ich glaube nicht daran, aber wer weiß), dann bin ich froh, dass ich eine Entscheidung getroffen habe, dich ICH mag, die gut für MICH ist und die ICH liebe, arbeitstechnisch. :D Obwohl ich es nicht mehr erleben würde. ♥ New year's coming soon - my wishlist! ♥

Below you can see my wishes. Not for christmas or something like that because some of them are kind of expensive and I don't want to wish for expensive presents for christmas, I rather want to buy them for myself. ♥ 1.) Adidas Jeremy Scott Wings 2.0 (~98 $, ~77 €): Oh my god. I love them. I want them! *w* They were limited and I already saw them last year on a website but I struggled... but now I really want them! Problem: not available in Germany ): So I think I will order them here: cheapjeremyscottsale.com. I can sent them back if they are fake (there are so many fakes around the internet!). Picture is also by them!

Oh mein Gott. Ich liebe sie. Ich will sie! *w* Sie waren limitiert und ich habe sie letztes Jahr auf einer Website gesehen, aber ich war nicht sicher...aber jetzt will ich sie wirklich! Problem: Es gibt sie nicht in Deutschland. ): Also werde ich sie wahrscheinlich auf der Seite oben bestellen. Ich kann sie zurücksenden, falls sie Fakes sein sollten (es gibt viele Fakes im Internet!). Bild ist auch von der Seite!

♥ 2.) Remington hair straightener S8590 keratin therapy (~72 €): This seems so well for my afro hair. I first eyed on the 'Braun Satin Hair 7' straigthener but I read some reviews and it's written that it's not ideal for afro hair like mine...maybe I'll test this one, although it's much more expensive than the Satin Hair 7. Dieser scheint so gut für mein Afrohaar zu sein. Zuerst hatte ich den 'Braun Satin Hair 7' im Auge, aber ich habe ein paar Reviews gelesen und dort stand, dass er nicht so ideal für Afrohaar wie meins sein soll... vielleicht werde ich diesen hier testen, auch wenn er viel teurer ist als der Satin Hair 7. ♥ 3.) Emmi Nail gel starter set (39 €): I want to do my gel nails soon again. But it's kind of expensive to go to the nail designer every month, so I'll doing it for myself like I did my acrylic nails. This time I want to test out gel. This set is perfect for the first tries! Ich will meine Gelnägel bald wieder machen. Aber es ist teuer, jeden Monat zum Nageldesigner zu gehen, also werde ich sie selber machen, so wie ich es bei meinen Acrylnägeln auch schon gemacht habe. Dieses Mal möchte ich Gel austesten. Dieses Set ist perfekt für die ersten Versuche! Bilder sind von der Website.

♥ 4.) Clip-in extensions (~40-50£, ~50-60 €): I think that they are a great opportunity to get hair longer in a short time. Some clip them in everyday, some only for special occasions. I don't want ridiculous long hair, I will order maybe 14 or 16 inch. I'll buy them in a local afro shop or on this website: hairtrade.com

Ich denke, dass sie eine großartige Möglichkeit sind, Haare in kurzer Zeit lang zu bekommen. Manche clippen sie jeden Tag rein, manche nur für spezielle Anlässe. Ich will kein unnormal langes Haar, ich werde 14 oder 16 inch bestellen. Ich werde sie im Afroshop kaufen oder auf der Seite oben bestellen.

♥ 5.) TONYMOLY cosmetics (~16 €): I.want.to.try.this.brand. Sooyoona often buys something of this brand and I'm always in love! They make so cute cosmetics *w* First, I want to try the 'CatChu Wink Lipsticks' and the 'Fruit Princess Lipglosses'. There are several colors available, I'm not sure which to try. I will buy them from this ebay seller, because Sooyoona ordered there. (: Bilder are from this ebay-shop!
